Tabard-style evening dress
Chris Leonard's designs, a rich mix of opulent fabrics and ornamentation, won her many accolades, including trips to Italy and Paris. Her workroom was in New Lynn, Auckland. This evening dress from 1964 is modelled by Liz Craddock who also wore Chris' winning dress at the 1963 Gown of the Year Awards.
