Help make fashion history
The New Zealand Fashion Museum is a Charitable Trust. We rely on the generosity of our supporters to record and share our fashion heritage for future generations. There are many ways to support the museum.
Your support will help us to expand our online archive of New Zealand fashion history by funding our research and content manager, and expand our New Zealand fashion publication programme. Many thanks to our generous supporters.
Sponsor a Frock
Be a part of our mission to capture our New Zealand fashion history. Help us develop the New Zealand Fashion Museum’s online collection with our great new initiative 'Sponsor a Frock'. For just $40 you can sponsor a new collection item (or give it as a gift for that hard-to-buy-for fashionista friend) which will be uploaded to our website with your name (or that of your friend) proudly displayed on our 'Sponsor a Frock' page. It’s a marvellously meaningful way to add to our online collection.
For your contribution you will receive an e-card confirming your donation has sponsored an outfit for the New Zealand Fashion Museum’s online collection. Or if a gift, just print this off, roll into a scroll, and tie with a special ribbon. Every $40 adds another entry to the collection and when your special frock is added you will be notified by email advising which is yours.
Become a Volunteer
Please email us if you are interested in supporting the New Zealand Fashion Museum as a volunteer. This is a fabulous opportunity to get behind the scenes of an exhibition and support the New Zealand Fashion Museum.
