Tea timer set

Tea timer sets were popular in New Zealand in the late 1950s and early 1960s. They were influenced by two garments associated with Hawaii, the aloha shirt and the cheongsam. The set comprised a tight-fitting, tailored sleeveless top or tunic with a small mandarin collar, usually in an aloha or other 'novelty' print, which was worn over matching pants. This one is modelled by Glenda Roberts.
