Swagger coat with patch pockets

This photo of a swagger coat by Korma was taken by Auckland photographer Clifton Firth in the early 1950s. Hosiery manufacturers Korma Mills opened in 1939 in the National Mutual Building on Chancery Lane, Auckland. They opened a second branch in Grey Lynn before moving to a purpose-built factory in Royal Oak in the late 1940s.
