Silk velvet dress & wool coat
Tanya Carlson's 2001 collection, The Fall of the Winter Palace, was part of the inaugural New Zealand Fashion Week. The collection embraces influences from Russian aristocracy through to gypsy styling and military emblems. French Chantilly lace, Merino wool, military-inspired Great Coats and sumptuous velvet dresses feature, along with Tanya's first selection of casual wear and first jeans.
