Lilac floral print playsuit
This playsuit was made in Auckland by Holeproof NZ Ltd. The playsuit was worn during the 1930s as a stylish piece of sportswear, but by the 1950s when this playsuit was made, it had evolved to be a glamorous garment suitable for lounging by the pool or at the beach. The silhouette flattered the hourglass figure popular during this decade.
