Kimono jacket & trousers with bird print
Aorewa McLeod was a big fan of Susan Holmes in the early 1970s and as a lecturer at Auckland University had the position and income to be able to wear these beautiful, boldly striking clothes. This is one of a number she bought at Brown's Mill and has kept for some 40 years. Susan never used a label in her garments. Her prints, dyeing and stencilling are her signature.
