Flocked nylon dress with dainty floral print

This Pacemakers dress is made from flocked nylon. The fabric became very popular in the 1950s for cocktail and party dresses because it was light and pretty. Its stiffness meant it didn’t take too much to make the skirt flare out and it leaned itself to lovely puff sleeves.
