Dress & cloak ensemble

Bruce Papas designed and made garments under the 'Model' label from his home in Titirangi. The label has a Greek keystone pattern worked around the edge. This ensemble was designed for a private client, Mavis Jaggar-Smith. Bruce describes the dress as "very slim, with wide batwing sleeves that taper to the wrist". The cloak is made from grey wool. The drawn thread is replaced by matching red strips of suede leather. Both garments are fully lined.
