Walk the Walk Wellington Te Whanganui-a-Tara is a guided walking tour of the city's fashion heritage locations, from 19th century draperies to 21th century designers.
Walk the Walk: Wellington Te Whanganui-a-Tara is a guided walking tour of 20 locations that were once, and in many cases still are, home to fashion businesses. These range from small dressmakers and tailors to large department stores and clothing manufacturers and the tour aims to look beyond the contemporary facade to a building’s fascinating heritage story.

Where: Our walk starts at Te Aro Park/Pā, Dixon Street, Wellington.
Difficulty: An easy amble, taking 90 minutes to cover about 2 kilometres.
What do you need: You need an Android or iPhone mobile device to follow the walk, you can choose to read the text or listen to the audio, in which case we recommend headphones.
Access information: This walk is wheel friendly and suitable for deaf and hard of hearing participants.
