Wool dress & belt with felt patches

By the late 1940s, there were about a dozen 'girls' in the Trilby Yates workroom, working under one or two designers - Nancy Hudson then June Todd, Maxine Sigglecoe and later Julia's niece Digsy Yates. For a time the girls were joined by a young man, the aspiring designer, Hall Ludlow.
