White peasant blouse

Trish Bowden had this blouse made to order to go with a skirt that she had bought in the UK. Petrouska designer Laraine Flowers frequently used braid trim in her designs. Laraine worked for Annie Bonza in the early 1970s and, when Annie left Auckland in 1974, Laraine took over her braids and trims, as well as her outworkers and set up her own boutique, Petrouska, in newly fashionable Parnell.
