Venus evening gown
Peggie Wilson established a deportment and modelling school in central Auckland in 1960 with her husband Len. Under her expert guidance, many Academy of Elegance students went on to achieve success in the world of modelling. Peggie won a number of fashion design competitions in Australia and New Zealand. This gown, Venus, won the Golden Shears Fashion Design Competition in 1962.
