Silk & guipure lace dress with matching hat
This silk and guipure lace dress appeared in the summer 1963 issue of New Zealand Vogue. Designed by Bruce Papas for Milne & Choyce department store, the photo by Michael Gillies was part of an article called 'Five leaders of New Zealand Couture'. The dress, modelled by Anne McClurg, is described as a "pure silk dress for cocktails or race wear, with oblique tiers of guipure lace".
