Silk georgette tiered wedding dress
This wedding dress was made-to-measure at The DSA (Drapery Supply Association), a major Dunedin department store. It was worn by Tui McKinnon for her wedding to Harold Mein Preston on 9 June 1920. The dress features a high Empire waist and tiers of ruffled georgette. The dress is decorated with embroidered netting, metallic ribbon and white ostrich plumes.
