Roisin Dubh soul gaze printed denim coat, 2003
Charlotte Smith bought this Roisin Dubh coat second-hand. The collage print of faces and figures in silver metallic ink on a dark denim ground references a spiritual theme, and adds to the 70s feel suggested by the double breasted, A-line silhouette and emphasised collar and cuffs. Roisin Dubh had a boutique on K'Rd, later moving to Eden Terrace. This coat is from the collection that was shown on the runway at L’Oreal NZFW 2003.
