Pale blue knit top
The development of new fine knit fabrics led to a fashion for quick drying knit tops in the 1950s and early 1960s. They were made in a range of colours and with varying necklines - tailored collars, high crew necks, shawl collars or boat necks. This top was made by Manawatu Knitting Mills in Palmerston North.
