Nina van Lier interpreted June Black's 'Costume to embrace everything with a private ecstasy' for the Intellectual Fashion Show 2016. City, street, girl. Her headphones blast a tune that no one else can hear. With every beat her euphoric consciousness is amplified. The city hurries past, but does not blink an eye. Her black attire is a camouflage in the busy hum. But she savours every colour of black. She walks, but she dances. She is silent, but she shouts. Music is her ecstasy, and hers alone.
