Navy dress with white stitched yoke & pockets

Jonathan Logan was an American manufacturer of dresses that grew in popularity in the 1950s and 1960s. They targeted a younger audience, but a classic style rather than trendy. Jonathan Logan was made under licence in New Zealand. This dress was part of a photoshoot for New Zealand Vogue. Photographer Desmond Williams was one of the first local photographers to contribute to Vogue New Zealand - previously the publication sent their clothes to Australia to be photographed.
