Mary Quant (Lady Summit) pocket detail chambray shirt, 1970s
Nathalie Gregory acquired this shirt as a lucky second hand find, along with some other 1970s New Zealand pieces in 2014. This rare example of a garment produced under license for Mary Quant is made by Summit, under their Lady Summit label. This shirt is made from a lightweight poly-cotton blend which mimics chambray denim, and has a contrast collar facing in a ditsy daisy print, a motif that references Mary Quant's iconic logo.
