Madame Butterfly draped jacket & obi sash
The dress was inspired by Donna Tulloch’s entry in the 1988 Benson & Hedges Fashion Design Awards and the music of Malcolm McLaren’s ‘Death of Butterfly’. This piece saw the beginning of a love for architectural draping which is still the trade mark of Mild Red today.
