Long gilet & trouser set
In the early 1990s there were several seasons that were influenced by the 1970s. Slim tops and flared trousers worn with extra high wedged shoes were prevalent. Collars and cuffs were also emphasised at this time. Tunic length was also becoming popular. This outfit is part of a range designed by Linda Evans to sell at fashion parades in people's homes. There were also versions in plain black, apple green and butter lemon. Linda made white blouses with flounced collars and cuffs to be worn with them and a patchwork shirt combining all the colours and prints.
