Long black velvet coat
Allison Winterbottom bought this black velvet coat from Fotheringay Boutique on Auckland's Karangahape Road in the 1970s. She liked to wear it as a coat or coat dress, she also styled it with hot pants and knee high black boots or with a maxi skirt and tuxedo waistcoat underneath.
