Green jacquard tie with orange dots

The narrow tie emerged in the late 1950s - a style designed to complement the more form-fitting and tailored clothes of the time. Jackets, shirts, lapels and collars were narrower and less fussy. This look was worn in New Zealand well into the 1960s.
