Diane Cooper modelled this hat for an Auckland Star fashion supplement in 1960. The caption read: "A white fur pillbox is worn by Diane, as a contrast to her dark hair. A white airgrette gives the hat the look of a hussar. Again we see the jewel motif - Paris loves this style."
