Full-length fur coat with pompom ties
In about 1940, Auckland photographer Clifton Firth took a series of advertising photos for the furrier, Mooneys Furs. The wholesale business was founded by George Stewart and James Kennedy Mooney in Dunedin in 1912. The advertisement features Clifton Firth's Hollywood-inspired photograph, overlaid with the text 'Lapin For Swaggers'.
