NOM*d interpreted June Black's 'Costume in which to celebrate perfect moments' for the Intellectual Fashion Show 2016. The label text read: "A Perfect Moment for is when we create a garment that completely affirms the essence of the NOM*d aesthetic. In these instances, our love of mismathcing checks and tartans stems from a punkish subversion of the aristocratic association carried by that iconic cloth. RED Autumn Winter 2002 was our second New Zealand Fashion Week show and represented our move to expand NOM*d's product offering into woven and reworked vintage garments, such as the Vintage Fur Coat. It was the show that really elevated NOM*d as a brand into the wider fashion industry.
