Cinnamon dress with fur trim & hat

This dress is just one of many garments, including a 1973 wool jersey suit, made by El Jay from the wardrobe of the late Edna Coutts [nee de Marr]. Edna was known for her sense of style and her sister Vena de Marr was one of Gus Fisher's favourite models in the late 40s and early 50s. Edna gave this dress and matching hat to her granddaughter who was interested in her vintage pieces and wore them too.
