Black velvet & sequin cocktail dress
Janice Corbishley designed and made this dress in 1990. The cost of the fabric was a "big challenge" for Janice who was a young solo parent. But despite having no formal training, her dress was accepted into the Benson & Hedges Fashion Design Awards in 1991.
