Black lapin jacket
Robin paid $295 for this jacket – she kept the receipt in the pocket. There were still several shops selling fur coats in Auckland at that time.
She owned several fur garments, including a vintage fox fur stole with the head on. Robin wore this lapin jacket as an evening garment, but also during the day in winter. "It was prior to the anti fur protests, after which wearing fur became very non PC. It did feel extremely luxurious."
