Black felt top hat
Hills Hats have been making top hats as long as they have been in business. A brochure from 1897 advertised: "We are in receipt of regular shipments of Hats from the following High-Class Makers: Christy and Co., Stetson and Co., Tress and Co …". Now made from merino wool, Hills Hats' top hats are no longer imported but made in New Zealand, in their workroom in Petone, Wellington.
