Belted dress with shoulder-width collar
Hazel Craig (later Benini) designed this window display, 'Greet the Spring', to announce the arrival of Horrockses cotton dresses at the Dunedin department store, Brown Ewing & Co. To capture the mood of the season, she made trees, blossoms and flowers. Horrockses was a British label which was manufactured locally by California Productions (NZ) Ltd.
