Wool check dress

Purchased from Smith & Caughey’s, Kathleen Cooper recalls wearing this dress to the races once and coming face to face with Gus Fisher as she passed through a door. He recognised the dress, looked her up and down and nodded approval. The single button detail and clean lines make this an elegant dress. Closer inspection reveals that the whole dress is lined in silk organza which gives the wool the structure necessary to maintain the definition of the bodice cut and the pleats.
