Silk taffeta dress with heavy cotton lace skirt

Bruce Papas designed under the name Bruce Papos during his time at Milne & Choyce. His collections were presented in the windows of Milne & Choyce in Queen Street. The window displays required months of planning. "If the theme colour for spring/summer was apricot and alabaster, then the whole windows would be done in that," he recalls. Read more about Bruce Papas in the New Zealand Fashion Museum publication, A Certain Style.
