Men's shirt with orange roughy print

Bruce Mahalski worked at Virus in Auckland in the late 1980s before starting his own label, Fantastic Life, with his then partner Fiona Morris. In 1990 they moved to Wellington where they ran the label until the late 1990s. "I used to work in fisheries research. This is a print inspired by working at what is now NIWA. I got the fish from a local factory. I swapped with one of the managers - a t-shirt for five fish."
