Gatsby jacket

In the early 1970s there was an underlying influence of 1920s fashion, which culminated with the release in 1974 of The Great Gatsby starring Mia Farrow. The 1920s subtly influenced the work of Linda Evans during this time. This jacket was originally sold with a flared A-line skirt on a waistband. "To go with the set we made a cream satin crepe blouse with a V neck and puff top short sleeve. There was a cream rose motif on each side of the neckline, which was slightly gathered off a yoke. Pearl necklaces were encouraged!"
