Floral print dress with leg-of-mutton sleeve

This floral maxi dress was handmade in the 1940s for a honeymoon trousseau. It was later gifted to Ivy Winterbottom after she wore it in a production of Oscar Wilde's 'A Woman of No Importance' at the Napier Repertory in the late 1950s.

The dress was then handed down to Ivy's daughter Allison Winterbottom before she gifted it to her friend Jenny Winterbottom in 2015.
